The Most Insta-Worthy Infinity Pool in the World

This 5-star hotel has the coolest pool in Bali, hands-down. After seeing so many photos of the pool hanging off the cliffside, we knew we had to stay here and experience it for ourselves. We were completely blown away by the luxury of this resort and couldn’t get over how impressive it was.

The Edge Hotel is a collection of 8 villas, that can accommodate up to 34 guests. Each of these spacious villas features a private pool, living and dining room, as well as 24 hour butler service. It’s the epitome of luxury, and you can spend your days totally secluded in ultra privacy. We stayed in the 2 bedroom “The Ocean” villa.  which had so much room for activities!

If all this isn’t enough to impress you, then the facilities on site will! The resort boosts a two-lane bowling alley, meeting room, spa, restaurant, lagoon, and two pools.

The main pool is a feat in itself, as it extends over the cliff and the only thing separating you from the ocean 150 metres below is glass. This pool is available for inhouse guests from 6am to 11 am, after which it is open to the public. If you can’t stay the night at The Edge, you can always visit One Eighty, which is the name of the restaurant and pool.  A day pass is 400,000 IDR which gives you 300,000 IDR credit towards food and beverage. They limit the day passes to 200 a day, so be sure to arrive early, especially if you want a photo in the pool without anyone in it.

The views from the cliffs are stunning, but definitely not for the faint of heart. If you’re lucky, you will see some monkeys roaming the property during less busy times.  Although the sun doesn’t set over the ocean directly in front of the resort, the cotton candy sky lights up the whole resort.
